Minecraft Paper 1.21.11 server hosting

The last of 1.21: almost every Paper, Spigot and Bukkit plugin has a version for it. Paper stopped updating it in June 2026, so if you're starting from scratch, 26 is the better choice.

What it needs: 4 GB

We recommend the Stone plan (4 GB, €8/month). Survival with plugins for 10–20 players. The RAM is yours alone: we don't oversell it. If it falls short, you move to a bigger plan without reinstalling anything.

How to set it up

  1. Get the server

The Stone plan or whichever you like. It's created in a couple of minutes.

  2. In the panel, Mods & plugins → Server type

Pick Paper and version 1.21.11, and press Change.

  3. Wait a couple of minutes

Paper 1.21.11 is installed with Java 21, which is what this version asks for, and it starts on its own. A backup is made first if you have room for it.

  4. Add your plugins

From Mods & plugins: you search Modrinth only among the ones that work on your version, and install them in one click.

Frequently asked questions

Which Java does Minecraft 1.21.11 need?

Java 21. The panel sets it up on its own when you pick the version: nothing to touch. For other versions, which Java each one needs.

Can I change the version or the type later?

Yes, from the same place and with your world. Whatever doesn't work on the new type (plugins on a mod server, or the other way round) is set aside, without deleting anything. What you can't do is go down a version with a world that has already been played: the game can't read a newer world.

Do my players need anything?

Just Minecraft Java 1.21.11. The plugins live on the server.

Not sure which type to choose? Paper, Fabric, Forge or NeoForge.
