Changelog
What we've changed, with dates
We're a new host and we don't have reviews to show you yet. What we can show you is the work: every panel improvement, every fix and every guide, on the day it came out.
Create your free SMP
- New “Create your free SMP”: your free Minecraft server, set up to play with friends in a couple of minutes. Protected builds (GriefPrevention), /home and /tpa (HuskHomes), griefing you can undo and a whitelist with the names you give (with yours, you're the admin). See it
- New “Turn into an SMP” in “Mods & plugins” on any Paper server: the same in one go, without losing your world, and anything you already have that does the same stays. See it (in Spanish)
NapNodes, now in English too
- New The website in English: home, games, pricing, free server and legal terms. The «Español» link is in the header. See it
- New The panel, emails and invoices are in English too, for anyone who prefers it: change it in “My account” → “Idioma / Language”.
- New All 31 Project Zomboid guides, now in English as well. See it
- New All 24 free tools, now in English as well. See it
- Fixed “The basics for a community” (in “Mods & plugins”) stopped halfway on the latest Minecraft version: it now installs all four, and uses Prism to undo griefing when CoreProtect doesn't run on your version yet.
- Fixed On the free server, changing the server type, installing a modpack or importing a world no longer makes it switch itself off a minute after finishing.
Pick the game for your free server, 8 guides and 2 tools
- Improved On the home page, «Create your free server» asks which game you want it for, and shows the panel from the inside before you create an account.
- Improved When you sign up, we tell you if your email has a typo (gmial.com, hotmail.con…), and you can see the password you're typing. To confirm your email, a button opens your Gmail or Outlook.
- New Chunky calculator: how much disk and time pre-generating your world takes, with the commands ready. See it
- New /summon generator: mobs with a name, health, size and gear, written for your version. See it
- New New Minecraft guides (in Spanish): whitelist, spawn, flat worlds, optimising Paper, BedWars, Lifesteal, non-premium servers and making money with your server. See it (in Spanish)
A link for your friends to join
- New Every server has its own page to share with your friends: the address and how to join from their game, step by step. It comes in the “ready” email.
- New napnodes.com/gratis (in English, napnodes.com/en/free): pick your game and create your free server in a couple of minutes. See it
- Improved New Project Zomboid servers appear in the public list with your name and greet players in Spanish; Minecraft ones, with their own message instead of “A Minecraft Server”.
- New On the server's Home screen, «Copiar el enlace» (copy the link) for your friends, next to the address.
- New Discord bot permissions calculator, with the link to invite it to your server. See it
- New 14 more one-click modpacks: All the Mods 10, DawnCraft, Cursed Walking, Vault Hunters, SkyFactory 4 and more. See it (in Spanish)
- Fixed Big CurseForge modpacks no longer fail to download their server pack, and the panel shows the progress.
Project Zomboid settings editor
- New Free editor for Project Zomboid's servertest.ini and SandboxVars.lua: every option explained, with search, and you download the finished file. See it
- New New Project Zomboid guides (in Spanish): a dedicated server on your PC, “Host”, Workshop maps, Build 42 multiplayer, settings for playing with friends and roleplay servers. See it
- Fixed Project Zomboid: Settings («Configuración») now shows the directional audio option for voice chat (Voice3D).
Python bots and 43 new guides
- New Discord bots in Python: under Settings → Language, «Pasar a Python» (switch to Python, or to Node.js), without touching your files. See it (in Spanish)
- New Panel guides (in Spanish): the free server and its queue, your account's RAM, archiving, SFTP, backups, scheduled tasks and more. See it (in Spanish)
- New A guide hub for each game, sorted by topic and by version: Minecraft, Project Zomboid, Valheim, Hytale and Discord bots. See it
- New New guides for Project Zomboid (Build 42), Valheim 1.0, Hytale (Update 7) and what changes in each Minecraft version.
- Fixed Valheim: setting a world modifier back to “Normal” in Settings now really undoes it on restart.
Your RAM, for whichever games you like
- New My servers («Mis servidores») shows your plan's RAM and disk: put a server away (it keeps its world), play something else with its RAM and come back whenever you like.
- New Create more servers with your plan's free RAM, for any game, and share the RAM and disk between them with Adjust («Ajustar»).
- New Your RAM is one pool even if you have several plans: take it from one server and give it to another, whatever the game.
- New Buy RAM («Contratar RAM») on its own, without choosing a game, and create whatever servers you want with it.
- Improved Project Zomboid starts at 6 GB, the free server too, so it runs smoothly with Build 42.
- Improved An archived server only takes up the disk it uses, and “Archiving…” stays visible even if you reload.
- Improved The free server is one at a time: if you delete yours, you can ask for another.
- Fixed Valheim: the join password is shown under Settings, with a button to copy it.
- Improved While your server installs, the panel tells you what it's doing and how long it usually takes.
- Improved My plan & invoices shows what each plan's RAM is being used for.
- New Minecraft: every server setting and every game rule under Settings, explained and with search.
- New Valheim: difficulty and world modifiers (combat, resources, portals, no map…) from Settings.
- New Hytale: name, password, players, game mode, PvP and more under Settings.
- Improved Every new server gets its own name, with yours and a number, which you can change.
Project Zomboid, set up your way
- New Project Zomboid: every server and world setting under Settings, explained and with search (public list, players, PvP, zombies, loot…).
- New Project Zomboid: Steam Workshop mods in their own «Mods» tab; your players download them on their own when they join.
- New Project Zomboid: search mods by name and press Add; the Mod ID is filled in for you, and we warn you if a mod is missing another one it needs.
- Improved Every new server comes with its own in-game admin, with a random username and password, visible under Settings.
- Fixed SFTP: the password is created under My account («Mi cuenta») and the details are under Advanced settings → SFTP; Reinstall moves to Settings.
Hytale that starts first time and a tidier panel
- Fixed Hytale: after you link your account, the game downloads and the server starts on its own; Start, Stop and Restart always respond.
- Improved My plan & invoices, in two tabs: your plans on one side and your invoices on the other, with an “Unpaid” filter and 20 at a time.
- Improved The link for your friends to play with your mods is now under «Mods y plugins», tailored to your server (with plugins they don't need to install anything).
- New If you ask for more RAM and change your mind, «No quiero el cambio» (I don't want the change) removes it in one click: you aren't charged anything.
- Improved The console and its messages, in the panel's own language and design; confirmation windows, like everything else.
- Fixed “Cancel at the end of the period” now only appears when there is a real date, and never deletes the server early.
- Improved While your server is being created, you see each step and how long it has taken; and if something doesn't respond, we tell you plainly instead of showing a technical error.
20 free tools, 84 guides and every plan on one page
- New New tools: Valheim or Project Zomboid server status, player UUID, generators for /give, /tellraw, gradient text, server icon and start.bat, which Java you need, slime chunks and SteamID64. See it
- New A pricing page with every plan and each game's free server, all on one page. See it
- Improved Guides, sorted by game and with search; each one with its own contents list. And 31 new guides: web map with BlueMap, gamerules, WorldEdit, Cobblemon, Create, Pixelmon, lag in Valheim and in Zomboid, free Hytale… See it
- Improved When you buy, the panel tells you what happens and when you're charged, with the dates of the guarantee, the invoice and the renewal.
Hytale, Discord bots and free servers on every game
- New Hytale servers: you link it to your account the first time (the panel shows you the link) and it updates itself with every version. See it
- New Discord bot hosting in Node.js or Python: upload your code or pull it from GitHub, and dependencies install themselves. See it
- New Free servers on Minecraft, Hytale, Project Zomboid and Valheim, and a free Discord bot: no card and no end date. You start it whenever you want to play; if there's no room, you join the queue.
- New Tutorials (in Spanish) for building your first Discord bot, in Python and in JavaScript, with code ready to copy. See it (in Spanish)
- New Hytale guides: creating a server, how much RAM it needs, admin commands and mods. See it (in Spanish)
- New “How much RAM do I need?” for every game and for bots: game, players and mods, and we tell you which plan fits. See it
- Improved If your free server's disk fills up, we email you before it stops saving.
Five free tools and guides for when something breaks
- New All the free tools together: check a server, work out the RAM, edit server.properties, create a coloured MOTD and convert coordinates to the Nether. See it
- New New guides: voice chat with Simple Voice Chat, a Minecraft server that won't start, your own domain, moving your Zomboid save to a server and recovering a Valheim world. See it
- Fixed The guide to moving a Valheim world, updated for 1.0: each world is a folder and is uploaded zipped.
A free tool, and the trial one step away
- New “Is my Minecraft server online?”: type the address and see whether it responds, how many are playing, the version and the MOTD in colour. It works for any server, NapNodes or not. See it
- Improved “Try it free” on the website takes you straight to creating an account, not to a sign-in screen that's no use if you don't have one yet.
- Improved Up to 10 free trials at once (3 before). Room for paying customers stays set aside.
- New New guides: datapacks, resource packs, MOTD with an icon and resetting a Minecraft or Project Zomboid world. See it
Invite a friend, and Zomboid Build 42
- New Invite a friend («Invita a un amigo») in the panel: when a friend buys with your link, after 72 hours you get one month of your plan as credit (at most what theirs costs). It comes off your next renewal automatically.
- New «Mods y plugins» on Paper servers: “The basics for a community” (LuckPerms, EssentialsX, CoreProtect and GriefPrevention), one by one or all in one click.
- Improved Project Zomboid installs Build 42, tested on a real 4 GB server.
- Fixed Zomboid Workshop mods weren't loading on Build 42: they need a backslash before each Mod ID, and now the panel adds it.
- New New guides: protecting your server from griefers, and ranks with LuckPerms. See it (in Spanish)
Buying, paying and everything else, inside the panel
- Improved Buying, paying by card, Google Pay or Apple Pay, downloading PDF invoices, changing plan, cancelling and asking for help: all in the same panel where you run your server.
- Improved Renewals are charged automatically to the card you paid with. If the bank declines it, we let you know and you pay from My plan & invoices.
- New Email reminders before renewal (if you have no saved card) and before suspending an unpaid server.
Help in the panel, and 18 guides
- New Help («Ayuda») in the panel: the most requested guides, your tickets with the whole conversation, and a button to write a new one.
- New 18 guides published: backups, Paper, Fabric or Forge, server.properties, moving your world, RAM for Zomboid and Valheim, connection errors, playing with friends without opening ports and more. See it
- Fixed “Buy” or “Pay” in the panel left you on the website instead of on the payment step.
Set up your game without touching files
- New Settings on Minecraft: difficulty, game mode, max players, PvP, whitelist, message and seed with switches and drop-downs; the whitelist, admins and bans, by player name.
- New Sign up and reset your password from the panel itself.
- New My account (name, email and password), and cancelling your plan from My plan & invoices, without writing to anyone.
A panel for people who don't know servers
- New Each server's Home screen: Start and Stop with a big button, the address to play with Copy, and the steps to join from each game.
- Improved The free trial shows how long it has left, when it switches off and when it gets deleted.
- Improved The technical bits (backups, version, databases, tasks, SFTP) are still there, grouped and folded away so they don't get in the way.
Pay for RAM, play whatever you like
- New “Game and RAM”: split your plan's RAM across several servers, of different games if you like, and give it back to switch games.
- New Quarterly billing, as well as monthly.
- Improved The panel's own windows and messages, without browser pop-ups.
Bring your server from another host
- New «Traer mi servidor» (bring my server) in «Mods y plugins»: paste the download link of a backup from your previous host and it sets itself up, with world, plugins or mods and settings. See it
Want to see it from the inside?
You can try all of this with a free Minecraft, Hytale, Project Zomboid or Valheim server, no card and no end date.
